Ballet(ages 4 & up)

Pointe (ages 12 & up)

Ballet classes are for ages 4 & up.  The length of the class time and hours taken per week are dependent on age and level of study.  This course include barre work, center floor work and progressions, with a strong emphasis on proper dance technique. 
 

In order to prepare for Pointe Class, dancers must be at least 12 years old, with a minimum of 2 years of technical ballet training.  For the safety of the student, the ballet instructor will determine if a student is ready to go up on pointe shoes.  Pointe Class is taken in addition to a weekly Ballet Class.

Classes meet for the whole year and will perform one dance in both performances of our annual recital.
